Synopsis

La France en 1815. Enfant, Jacquou assiste, impuissant, à l’arrestation de son père qui s’était révolté contre la cruauté du comte de Nansac. Condamné au bagne, le père de Jacquou y meurt. Jacquou jure alors de se venger de l’arrogant aristocrate responsable de son malheur. Recueilli par « le bon curé Bonal », Jacquou va réapprendre à vivre normalement.
